Temperance Alley Garden
The Temperance Alley Garden is a nestled between 13th and 12th streets near the U st metro station. Although slated for a condo development in a year, that hasn’t stopped the U St Neighborhood Association (USNA) from transforming it into an oasis of calm amidst the buzz of the U st corridor. Farm the District is joining forces with USNA to turn part of of the space into a raised-bed farm for the growing season of 2022. It is our goal to grow 800 pounds of fresh vegetables in this ephemeral yet beautiful space.
Our team meets at the Alley on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm starting March 26 2022.
